Ice Dance in Figure Skating

Dear Frankie..I want to tell you about figure skating. Figure Skating has many different types of skating. Ice Dance is performed by a couple and involves precise steps and their interpretation of the music. Unlike pairs skating, ice dance doesn't include overhead lifts or jumps. Ice Dance is similar to ballroom dancing. The skaters must remain in contact with each other throughout their program. Canada won a medal in the 2006 Olympics in Ice Dance. American skater Evan Lysacek has also won Olympic medals. By Emma
