Dear Frankie..I am going to tell you all about Ice Hockey. Most hockey games are played by men but women can also play in the Olympics. Hockey got its name from the French word "hocquet" which means stick. How does Hockey work? They have 6 players on each team as a time, or shift. Each team has to chase the puck and to try and score. Hockey is like roller blading and chasing a ball with a stick. Canada won an Olympic Gold Medal in Torino. Jennifer Bottler is a three time Olympian for the Canada in hockey. By Jad
