There is a sea wall in Stanley park that you should have a walk on You can go bike riding on the sea wall with your mom. There is a grass field that you can play on. You should go to the Suspension Bridge.It is really fun.It might be hard for you with your wheels though.After your finished walking across the bridge there is lots of fun things to do. Frankie , do you like the Olympic mascots called, Sumi,Miga,Quatchi. Do you like swimming because Vancouver has lots of great places to swim, even the ocean?
If you come to Vancouver you will love to see Stanley Park. There is a beautiful sea wall there that dogs are allowed on. You will see some amazing birds there, like the Great Blue Heron. You could also go to Ambleside in West Vancouver because dogs can be off a leash and can go on the beach too. I have a dog and I LOVE DOGS.

North Vancouver is a great place for snowboarding and skiing. You should go eat at Red Robin. Stanley Park has a very good park. I recomend you go to Vancouver's Chinatown for food choices. You can probably order it to go. Vancouver has the second biggest chinatown in the world. If you don't like chinese food I 'm sure you will like chinese food after eating it in Vancouver.You should go to Stanley park for a good walk in the park after eating it.BYE!!! Julien

If you want to play in the in the snow on land you can visit Whistler because Whistler is higher than Vancouver mountains. I think that you should go to Stanley Park,because you can bike,walk,play games,chase animals and chill. Also you should go to Science World because they have a lot of very cool science stuff. Dear Frankie....When you come here you should go to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Stanley Park. Also you should go up Grouse Mountain and try skiing. You should also try tubing because this year you will slide really fast! What I mean by "you will go really fast" is that you would put your wheels down if you could because the person who gives you the tubes tells you that you have to because you slide too fast. Thats why you have to put your wheels down.You should also go to other parks and try swimming in the Pacific Ocean with your front legs. Well I'm running out of things to talk about so.

Female and male athletes are on one team and there are two teams in one game. Each athlete takes turns pushing a stones that are very heavy. They push the stones toward a series of rings or circles. The object of the game is to get the stones as close as possible to the rings. Each person throws 2-8 stones and the stones must be thrown while the wheelchair is stationary. Frankie's Virtual Visit

Our virtual visit with Frankie and her mom, Barb Techel was so exciting! We learned so much about animals with disabilities and how to stay positive to overcome any problems we might have. We loved when Barb read to us from Frankie's book and when we got to see how she goes in and out of her wheels. We also got to ask and answer questions! Thanks so much Frankie and Barb!

The kids in Canada are very excited to have a "virtual visit" with Frankie and her mom next week. They will learn all about Frankie and why she is so special! It will be the kick off to Frankie's Olympic Adventure in Canada!

Frankie's Friend's New Adventure

We just started our new school year today and we are thrilled to take our friend, Frankie the Walk'n Roll dog, on an exciting new adventure! We met Frankie, a paralyzed dachshund that lives in the United States, last year and we got to ask her questions and write stories for her. Frankie uses a custom wheelchair to walk and she has taught us that all things are possible and to be positive and keep on rolling. This year, we are going to take Frankie on a new adventure...an Olympic one!! Vancouver and Whistler in Canada are hosting the 2010 Olympics and Paralympics in Feburary and March! We will be blogging all about many Olympic events, countries and athletes! We can't wait to begin! Stay tuned!

We discovered her by accident and now we can't stop doing Frankie things!
